These Terms of Use govern the use of Omikuji Trail.
By using Omikuji Trail, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
About the App
Omikuji Trail is a personal record app for saving omikuji fortune slips, optional photos, optional place information, notes, and viewing fortune graphs. The app does not provide social networking or public posting features.
Accounts
The app may require Sign in with Apple. Users may also link a Google account where supported. Users are responsible for managing their own accounts and devices.
Users can log out or delete their account from the Settings screen. Account deletion removes records, photos, related user data, and authentication data where technically possible.
User Records
Users are responsible for the records, memos, photos, and place information they save. Users should not save or share content that infringes the rights, privacy, or reputation of others.
Place search results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated because they depend on external map services.
Photo and OCR Features
The app may attempt to detect the fortune rank from a user-selected or camera-captured photo. Detection may fail or produce an incorrect result. Users should review and correct the selected fortune rank before saving.
Sharing
The app may generate share images or text that users can share through third-party services. Sharing is performed only by the user's action. Users are responsible for checking the content before sharing.
Ads
The app may display ads or ad placeholders. Ad availability, content, and behavior may depend on third-party ad services.
Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- Use the app for illegal or harmful purposes
- Upload or share content that violates the rights of others
- Attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or excessive load on the app or related services
- Interfere with app operation or third-party services
- Enter false, misleading, or inappropriate information
Data Storage and Availability
The app uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, and other services. Network conditions, device status, service outages, or specification changes may affect saving, syncing, displaying, exporting, or deleting data.
Users should not rely on the app as the sole storage location for important information.
Fortune Content
Graphs, statistics, and fortune labels are visualizations of user-entered records. The app does not guarantee future events, luck, outcomes, health, finances, travel safety, or any other result.
Third-Party Services
The app may interact with Apple, Firebase, Google AdMob, MapKit, X, Instagram, LINE, or other third-party services. The use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.
Intellectual Property
Rights to the app name, logo, UI, program, and related materials belong to the developer or their respective rights holders. Rights to user-created memos and photos remain with the user or the rightful owner.
Disclaimer
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the developer makes no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, usefulness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the app.
Changes or Termination
The developer may change, suspend, or terminate part or all of the app when necessary.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated when necessary. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page or announced in the app.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
